Yoga is one of the most ancient cultural heritages of India. It is a science that not only affects conscious itself but also the unconscious. It is used for physiological training. It represents complete system of social, physical, mental and spiritual development.

Yoga is very good for health and it increases our inner strength through chakra. Listed below are some Yoga Tips:
The most suitable time for yoga is early morning before breakfast when your mind is calm and relaxed. You can do movements with ease and vitality.

Yoga should practice in a calm place which is free from dust, insects, moisture, unpleasant smell and any other kind of distractions. It should be a place of quietude and should be well ventilated.

Before starting yoga you should empty your bladder, clean your nostrils and throat of all mucus. Take a glass of Luke warm water and after 15 minutes you can start practicing.

Always start with the easy postures and then move to the difficult ones. Follow the graded steps of yoga.
In the beginning, lightly practice all the exercises. If you feel fatigue then cease at that point.

Period of relaxation is advisable if exercise proof to be tiring.

Yoga trainers recommend balanced diet and an interval of 4 hours between meals is recommended.
The ratio for the composition of meals should be:

• 20% dairy products.
• 25% vegetables and roots.
• 20% fruits and honey.
• 30% grains and cereals.
• 5% nuts remaining.

Quantity of meal should be moderate, only that which can satisfy one’s appetite.
You should avoid over eating, dieting and eating once a day. You should avoid fast foods because it has harmful effects on health.

Your clothes should be loose and scanty as much possible because maximum skin should be exposed to the air.

You should wear form fitting Lycra/ cotton pants and shirts.

While practicing the yoga, you should keep your mouth close and take deep breaths. You should inhale and exhale only through the nose.

For sitting postures take a mat of kusa or any other grass or hay.

For lying postures use a woolen carpet and place a sheet over it. You can also try other accessories for example yoga belt, yoga pillows and rubber mats etc.
