The gleam of the teeth appears very charismatic and tells a lot about the person and what they think of themselves. Those who have dull or the yellowed teeth are often embarrassed and do not like to interact much, because of the awkwardness it stimulates. This is the reason these people are often introverts. There are hundreds of people in the world, who are plagued by the conditions of the teeth that are related to their yellowness. The yellow tooth in the individuals can be caused due to the hereditary factor as well. Also those individuals, who might be taking certain anti-biotic, may also suffer from the same condition on temporary basis, as a side effect of this medication. However, others who drink too much, or eat betel, chew tobacco and smoke are also prone to having dull and yellowed teeth. However, in more advanced stages, their teeth begin to rot, and appear to be green and black. Another very important factor that causes the yellowness of the teeth is the plaque film. This sticky layer is formed when the dental bacteria starts to grow and releasing the acid on the teeth. Not only does this acid causes the yellowness of the teeth but, is also responsible for making them weak and porous. In more advanced staged, the same acid from the bacteria can also lead to bone loss in humans. There are various ways in which the yellowness of the teeth can be reduced.
- 1. Using the baking soda
When brushing the teeth the individuals can dab their regular toothbrushes and the pastes with a little baking soda at least twice or thrice in a week. The teeth should be cleaned with the same in regular motion, which will reduce the yellowness of the teeth.
- 2. Hydrogen peroxide rinse
For making this type of the rinse one will only need water and the common household hydrogen peroxide. Each should be added in the same quantity to make a mixture with which the mouth should be rinsed. Not only will this help in reducing the yellowness of the teeth but also in getting rid of the germs as well.
- 3. Drink and rinse with water
Keeping the teeth hydrated is as important as keeping the skin hydrated. It is important that the individuals drink up to fifteen glasses of water to retain the shine of their teeth. This may sound odd but, the well hydrated teeth make it difficult for the dirt and stain to stick to them.
